Final Casting List

For our thriller we had decided that we would need 4 different characters. There is going to be the Girl, the Love Interest, the Main Boss (who is going to be driving the car), and a shooter. We decided that it would be a better idea that instead of the main boss would go and kill them it would be a thug that would shoot them from a moving car that the boss would be driving.

The final choice for the Girl we had picked Anna from our Media Class. The final choice for the Girl we had picked Anna from our Media Class. I believe that she would be a good fit for the girl in our thriller, because she is a type of femme fatale which is what we are exactly looking for. One aspect that plays very well between the girl in our thriller and her is because she has black hair which signifies that she is hiding something, and if she would wear red lipstick it would signify danger to her or her surroundings. That is why I think that Anna is a good lead actress for our thriller.

For the Love Interest we had picked Paul from the Media Department. I believe that Paul is the perfect fit for our thriller as the love interest because he is a certain type of HollyWood man which is what we are looking for as the love interest. This actor would be able to attract a female audience into watching our thriller.

Simon Wood will be playing the main boss in the film who later tries to kill the couple. He will be easy to access because he is our Media Teacher.
Habeeb Fasasi will be playing the role of the thug who takes orders from the Boss which is Simon Wood.

Script

We had felt that we didn’t need that much dialogue on our thriller because that we wanted to make the story more visual. My only having a couple of lines of dialogue this will also create less possibility for error, for example of that is telephone interference.
The only dialogue that we have in our thriller is:

“Can I get help with this one” - Guy

“Just one more thing. Jump in.” – Guy

Next Scene…

“I’m sorry that I dragged you into this” – Girl

“It’s all right, lets just go…” – Guy

Then the shooter interrupts the guys dialogue by killing him. Also we would have little dialogue in our thriller I believe that this will catch the attention of the audience, since there is almost no dialogue in the thriller the audience will be more aware when there is actual dialogue.

Final Costume

In our thriller we have two different protagonists, one is the girl who is the main actor in the film. We believe that the best outfit for her should be kind of dark clothing to signify danger and she would be hiding something. To make our female protagonist have a more feminine look we believe that her clothing her clothing should be both dark and feminine. The end result of this we have chosen our actress a black fur coat, I had found a link on ebay for a sort of fur coat that we would want to have in our thriller.

For the male actor we had decided to give a real macho man look and and as well a dark past which he would not reveal. We want to bring a bit more attention to our male actor so the audience could ask more questions about him, like "How did he get involved in this?", "When did the two protagonists meet?" and etc... In the end we have chosen a black leather jacket, I found a link on ebay for showing what type of jacket we are looking for.

Final Prop List

For our thriller we use a couple of props which are mostly guns. We need some kind of a large gun for the killer to shoot down the love interest in our story, we first thought of a AK47 but then on amazon I searched for some guns and I had found a Swiss Arms Tactical Airsoft Slip 1000 x 300mm. I think that is a good gun for our thriller, but we don't need exactly that certain type of gun we would be able to use almost any gun that would be large.

The next prop that we need in our thriller is a regular hand gun which the russian spy uses to kill the person who is after her. On amazon I found a good looking gun which is a RAM P99 Pistol.

One last prop that we need for our thriller is the car, we will use the media teachers car which is the Volvo 740-GLE, which I also found in Auto Traider's website.

Influences

For our new changed thriller we are able to relate to some other movies previously made by big global film productions. When we look at our thriller now we are able to see similarities in movies for example:

Kill Bill                                                                                                 Hanna

Salt

For Kill bill this relate to our thriller because the main character in the film is a woman who is traveling by herself in order to accomplish her goal. By comparing kill bill to our opening sequence we both have a woman as the main character who is on the run, in Kill Bill's case she it on the run from her past and trying to get rid of it, in our thriller we have the character on the run away from the people who want to track them down and kill her.

Hanna relates to our thriller by having the main character on the run from an organisation who wants to train her to become the perfect assassin; she is basically a project. This relates to our thriller by having possibly a russian assassin who is on the run away from a group who wants to kill her.

For Salt this relates to our thriller by having a spy which is russian, in Salt she has to kill everyone who would get in the way of her main goal. This relates to our film because our russian spy would possibly go kill the person who is after her, in the end. Another aspect of our thriller that relates to salt is where both salt and our russian spy has to deal with people who are after her and get rid of them.

Final Changes for our Thriller

For our opening thriller sequence we had made a couple of changes. We had changed that the girl in the the car would not want to kill the guy because she had fallen in love with him. Towards the end of the thriller sequence the killer had found out that she had not wanted to kill him so then thought that she is a weak link and wanted to kill them both in the end. When the killer finally takes the shot, he thinks he kills both of them and leaves the scene, but in fact it turns out that the girl had been injured but not yet dead. The rest of the story would be that the killer finds out that she is still alive and he tries to tie up some loose ends, the girl is also trying her escaping from her past as well as her surviving what the killer has planned for her.
